Where it all began

Our Story

Give-water was founded in 2010 with a simple yet powerful mission: to provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene education to rural communities in Ethiopia.

Our journey began when our founders witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of water scarcity and waterborne diseases in rural Ethiopian communities. They saw children unable to attend school because they spent hours collecting water, and families suffering from preventable illnesses due to contaminated water sources.

What started as a small initiative has grown into a comprehensive WASH program that has served over 200,000 communities and implemented more than 35 projects across Ethiopia.

Give-water is dedicated to providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions to rural communities in Ethiopia. We believe that access to clean water is a fundamental human right and the foundation for health, education, and economic prosperity.
